Been having major issues with uploading onto youtube & last night the service was unavailable. I did have my project done on the 1st an hour before midnight & finally my slideshow is up. Sorry I couldn't make a video, but here are the details. If I missed anything on this car it's because there is a lot of details going on. EXTERIOR Chopped top, molded rear deck, custom suicide trunk & hood, painted duplicolor alabaster silver, trim flat black, future shine helped me achieve that satin look. The wheels are 26' inch spinners painted tamiya clear blue. I used the custom front grille that came with the kit. The back lights I left clear for that custom look. The puzzle murals are all hand painted using acrylic colors & topped with future shine. I used bmf for the underside of the trunk & hood. CHASSIS: Painted flat black, front suspension modified to fit corvette motor, all brakes are scratch built & plumbed, fuel hose clamps made from flattened soder wire, fuel tank is detailed, plumbed with a scratch built fuel filter. Axle arms have been shortened to accomedate the the exhaust. Custom aluminum exhaust with scratch built clamps & drive shaft is scratch built from aluminum tubing. ENGINE & ENGINE BAY: Engine is from a corvette zr-1 & I used the engine cradle for it. The engine is painted primer white with semi-gloss clear. Intake tube is scratch built, painted acrylic blue with tamiya clear & I added a k&n air filter to it. Left fender has been modified because of the hood ...
