#TURN CC ON FOR AUDIO TRANSCRIPT!# During a pretty boring night I got a call from a good friend of mine asking if I could drive him to his friends house. Me having nothing to do that night I agreed and I set off. After dropping him off I noticed a Crown Victoria following me for a few minutes, and at the moment I thought nothing of it. My radar detector didn't go off, and I did not see a light bar on the roof, so I thought the coast was clear. As I was driving back I hit a red light. At that time I looked in my rear view mirror again and noticed that it was in fact an undercover police car (hideaway LEDs near his rear view mirror). I then noticed that my radar detector was going off. Shiiii- As soon as the light turned green he lit them up and pulled me over. After pulling me over he asked for the usual: license, registration, and insurance. I grabbed my registration and insurance from the glove box, but when I went to grab my wallet from my back pocket, it wasn't there. I left my wallet at home. -_- No worries for him, I gave him my name, address, and SSN and he went and ran my license - All clean. After a few questions about the gadgets inside my car he then told me why he pulled me over. He told me he saw the air freshener hanging from my rear view mirror. After I removed the air freshener, he let me go without any problems. :) 10/10 Nice cop, no attitude.
